This is by far my favorite Christmas card . Yes, again I used Seasonal Joy. See how versatile this set is. This card was all about texture, embossing and creating softness.
I love the bottom of this card. I used Stampin'Up Petals A-Plenty ( from the Holiday Mini). After I impressed it I used Rose Red Stampin' Pastels all over it. To highlight the centres of the flowers and the other dots I took my Rose Red Stampin' Marker to add more distinction. Then I used Versa Mark all over the piece and poured Stampin' Emboss Clear. This next step is functional because it protects the Stampin' Pastels but the Clear Emboss also adds a pretty effect. To finish off the bottom I used a beautiful Stampin' Designer ribbon in Vanilla.
The whole card was created with Very Vanilla. I placed the Petals A-Plenty design on a Very Vanilla piece of 4" x 5 1/4" with a piece of Brushed Silver. The Christmas tree is emboss with Stampin' Silver emboss powder as well as the greeting, "Merry Christmas". Then this whole top of the card is placed on a standard size card, (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") of Very Vanilla with Stampin' Dimensionals.
This card has a simple feel and look but it does have several steps. I love this card because of the look and how it is made! I hope you do too.
