First I am sorry I missed sending out a newsletter for March, the month got away from me but I am back on track now.
2021 is the year Stampin’UP! is releasing their Annual catalogue a month earlier than in pervious years. You can expect your new 2021-2022 Annual catalogue in May. Who doesn’t love cracking opening their new catalogue and pouring over it with a cup of tea or coffee? I received my copy earlier this week and sat down with it as soon as I got home. The cover captured my imagination straight away. As I flipped over each page my mind started swirling around with wonderful ideas of what I could create with many of the new products in this catalogue but this catalogue will also remind us of stamps we already have too. The catalogue will provide us with new samples to get our creative juices flowing when using what we already have.
After looking through the upcoming catalogue I know everyone will fall in love with aspects of it or possibly all of it – I hate to say it but likely all of it. I cannot wait to share in your delight when you see it. If you are excited now about getting your own 2021-2022 Annual catalogue, contact me to reserve your copy before end of April. CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS
A few favourite cards I made in March.
- The first two pictures were made with the really pretty Prized Peony bundle for a friend who recently got engaged. I water coloured the flower and used the Gilded Leafing to add some glint to the card.
- The Happy Birthday cards was for March's Stamp Club class. We used the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper. The ice creams on the cards were cut-out from the very sweet Designer Series Paper.
- The last card was created using the Friends are Like Seashell bundle. This is an amazing bundle and suite because the 3D Seashells Embossing folder and the dies line up and help create 3D images. I painted the seashells with the Frost White Shimmer paints and using water colour paper painted the back drop in three different blues.
