June Stamp Club Cards

Above are the three Stamp Club cards that my club ladies will be making this weekend.  These are all inspired by new products and colours from the new 2020-2021 Annual catalogue.

The one item that was used on all three cards is my new favourite Embossing Folder, Tasteful Texture 3D (pg. 185).  Do you see where I used it?

The first card, Lovely, I used the new stamp set Lovely You (pg. 22). This is a great set with a variety of sentiments with delicate flower and leaves. I created this card from three colours, Petal Pink, Sea Foam and Sahara Sand.  This stamp set let me make my own Designer Series Paper on watercolour paper using an Aqua Painter and stamps from the set. Who enjoys creating unique cards?

The second card, Happy Birthday, is made with the popular Painted Poppies stamp set.  I used the new Brass foil paper (pg. 153) and a new In Colour, Bumble Bee (pg. 143).  A great new colour combo. Some stamping and colouring is always fun combo too.  Who likes to colour?

The third card, Wonderful Day, also uses a new In Colour, Misty Moonlight with Shaded Spruce and Sahara Sand and the Mountain Air photopolymer stamp set.  The Misty Moonlight mountains and water sandwich the Shaded Spruce trees.  The trees and water are on one stamp. I inked up water part of the stamp in Misty Moonlight and then added the Shaded Spruce ink on the trees (tip: light colour first and then ad darker colour - always.).  Then to blend the tree and water line, I used a blender pen to blur the line.  Blender Pens are great for many different techniques, not just for colouring.  Can you tell me what other uses the Blender Pen has?

I look forward to making these cards with my club members this weekend.

Interested in joining my Stamp Club contact me.  I'd love to hear from you.

June's 2020 Newsletter

My Message to You

How is everyone?  I hope you are all well and even during this time of separation are still doing things you enjoy in a safe manner.  One thing many of us are doing is turning to our hobbies to get us through this unique situation. Thank goodness we can paper craft and still do it together.  We've had a couple of successful ZOOM gatherings and even though we cannot be face to face, meeting this way still allows us to share stories, laugh, connect and have fun crafting together.  Looking ahead to the rest of the year, I will continue to plan to hold all of our clubs, Paper Pumpkin Nights and possible card class via ZOOM.  I hope that you continue to join me in this way.

Crafting with you has always been my pleasure.  I am want to impress upon you all who craft with me and support my Stampin'UP! "hobby" business, how truly grateful I am for you and for the friendship Stampin'UP! has helped me create with you.  Yup, I'm being mushy because on May 8th, one day shy of my 13th Stampin'UP! anniversary, I reached a 100,000 (US) in career sales which I could not have achieved it without you.  Stampin'UP! recognizes Demonstrators who reach this goal with a reward - not as extravagant as if you reach 1,000,000 in sales but still a nice bonus.  This is a goal that I had never though I would achieve.  Thank you for loving Stampin'UP! like I do, stamping with me and having a passion for paper crafting. Virtual hugs for all of you.

Stampin'UP! News

Catalogue news:
The month of June is the start of the new Annual catalogue season but this is the last year we will see the reveal in June.  2020 is turning to be a transition year because Stampin'UP! will be changing the month when catalogues are launched.  2021 will be the first full year Stampin'UP! will release all catalogues one month earlier that in the past but luckily we will get to experience this with our next Mini catalogue (Aug-Dec, formerly known as the Holiday catalogue).  This means that we get to start creating our Christmas cards one month earlier. Please keep an eye out for my emails about this change. Very excited!!

So, focusing back on this year's new Annual Catalogue, on Wednesday, June 3 at 11:00 a.m. we will all be able to start placing orders from this catalogue and start creating new projects.

Special Host Reward Promotion in June:

Shop or host an event during the month of June and earn additional Stamping' Rewards with a qualifying order.

Okay, the next most anticipated and exciting news in the new Annual catalogue is the new machine, Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine.  Now, there isn't just one new machine but TWO new machines.  Yes, TWO!  A standard size and a mini machine.  Can you believe it? The mini one is soooo adorable but not just cute, it is functional and will work with all small dies and the new 3" x 6" emboss folders.   The platforms on each machines fold up.  This awesome new feature will make it great for storing and for taking out of the house. They each come will all the plates needed to use with each machine.  Unfortunately, these to new products will not be available right on June 3rd but as soon as they are, I will let you know. So, still make sure to check them out in your new catalogue - add them to your wish list if you want to upgrade your Big Shot.
