Wonderful Christmas to remember

My Christmas was very joyful, fun and surprisingly relaxing. We all enjoyed opening our presents and seeing what we all received from each other. I think Nathan was surprised with all the wonderful gifts he received. It was my nephew's first Christmas. You can see him being held by his grandparents.

I cooked our little 10 lbs turkey in "I can't do without" Oven Roast Bag. I rave about this cooking/roasting tool. The turkey comes out perfect every time I have used this amazing Oven Roast Bag and the added fact I never have to baste every 1/2 hour makes roasting a turkey far less stressful. We all had a lovely dinner and were more than stuffed after we had dessert. It was a lovely day!

On Boxing Day Nathan was picked up by his grandmother and he was off to have some Christmas celebrations with his dad and their family. I did not spend this day looking for the best bargains but instead Chris and I spent a good part the day watching two movies at Silver City theater, "Nine" and "Avatar" on Imax. We watched Nine at 12:15 p.m. and Avatar at 10:00 p.m. In between we bounced around to a few box stores which were surprisingly quiet for Boxing Day and had a lovely dinner at Moxie's then returned to Silver City to watch Avatar. Both movies were fantastic and I would definitely recommend seeing Avatar in the theaters. It's a must see on the big screen. What a great way to spend Boxing Day....another prefect day.

Only a few more days until New Year's eve and then a new year begins....oh the possibilities....

Two Days Before Christmas

It is two days before Christmas and I am very happy to say I am done shopping and wrapping. I do have to admit getting my own Christmas cards made and sent out has been a struggle this year and I still have a few to hand out since they are too late to mail.

I'm looking forward to Christmas and New Year festivities that will be coming up. I even cannot wait to cook Christmas dinner.. It will be a breeze this year too since it will only be dinner for five. It will be small but cozy.

I'm excited for my new nephew as well because it will be his first Christmas. It is always a special time when it's baby's first Christmas. Here's a handsome picture of my son and him holding his nephew.

I am excited for the New Year because so much will be happening during the first part of the year. Not only will Sale-A-Bration, Stampin'Up's biggest event, start on January, 5th, but we have a ski holiday to look forward to and the start of my Paralympics Open Ceremony practices. Then in February here in Vancouver, B.C. we will be hosting the 2010 Olympics and on March 12th I will be part of the Paralympic's Opening Ceremony. I can't wait for it all!

I can't wait to find out what the rest of 2010 will have in store for me.
